i'm watching i heart huckabees. it is awesome. i want dustin hoffman and lily tomlin trying to develop theories about my exestential crisis. oh, and jason schwartzman (sp?) reminds me of logan, who i miss a lot (but i feel odd even saying that). the scene i'm watching right now reminds me of dw and myself... the wife is leaving the husband and he's like, "we need to ask these questions!!!" and she says, "i don't want to ask any more goddamn questions... i want to live my life!!" ok, so we aren't that bad, but sometimes that is definitely how i feel. ahh, the life with a philosopher.

we took iq tests together yesterday. well, we didn't take them together. the environment had to remain controlled, of course. we ended up having the exact same iq (133) acording to this test (the one on tickle.com). but the interesting thing is that he is a investigative thinker and i am a creative theorist. we have the same level of intelligence, but come at problems from a completely different angle. i love it. it is part of what makes us such a great couple.

we ended up having the nicest visit. i mean, i was a bitch and extremely worried about our relationship (mostly because i was being a bitch - circular reasoning attacking my life). but he loves me anyway. a lot. and it's wonderful. and i didn't think he really loved me until it seemed that he was so confused by my behavior. and i love him. we've been together for almost sixteen months now, and i don't even remember what it was like to not have him love me.

on a completely different note, and i do mean completely... i got drunk again last night. again. this is becoming a four out of the seven days a week thing. i made dinner for derek, we watched a movie, went to chili's, and then to the most redneck bar ever. well, not ever - we have one a little more ridiculous - but last night we played pool at the brickhouse. it was awesome. awesome.
